Don’t Wait. Don’t Hold Back.

We’ve all heard the old adage to perform each show as though it’s your last. It’s usually used in the context of on-stage energy. That’s all fine and good, but there’s a huge byproduct to the regular practice of giving 100%.

When you perform each show as though it’s your last, then when it is your last you’ll have the ability to make it your best.

Don’t wait until your friends, or your parents, or your director is in the audience to give your performance that little something extra.

Don’t wait for your final show to give it all you’ve got. You’ll find yourself in unknown territory, lost, without a map to find your way home.

Do the show you know how to do. Give the performance you know how to give. Every time, and always to the best of your ability.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Therefore, excellence is a habit not an act.” -Aristotle
